NewRent lets tenants record defects found after moving in, add photos and create a PDF defect report. Sending via NewRent may be offered in future.

Core features are free. No account is required.

5. No guaranteed availability

There is no right to uninterrupted availability. NewRent may change or discontinue features at any time.

6. User obligations

Provide truthful information and do not use NewRent abusively or unlawfully.

7. Uploaded content

Users are solely responsible for texts and photos and must not upload content infringing third-party rights, in particular recognisable people without consent.

8. Recipient email addresses

Users are responsible for the accuracy of recipient addresses and their right to send to them.

9. Emails sent on the user's behalf

Where NewRent offers sending, it does so in the name and on behalf of the user. NewRent is not a party to the tenancy.

10. No legal advice

NewRent does not provide legal advice.

11. No verification of defects

NewRent does not verify the accuracy or completeness of recorded defects.

12. No guaranteed legal effect

NewRent does not guarantee any legal effect of a defect report.

13. Technical availability

Outages or data loss cannot be ruled out. Keep your own copy.

14. Liability

NewRent's liability is excluded to the extent permitted by law, except for intent and gross negligence.

15. Data protection

Processing of personal data is governed by our privacy policy.

16. Intellectual property

The website, brand, logo and software are protected. Your content remains yours.

17. Changes

NewRent may amend these terms. The version published on the website applies.

18. Applicable law

Swiss law applies.
